Having a passbook helps you keep track of your payment each month and uses as a record in case there is any discrepancy between your bank account statement and the investment fund balance. It can also report type of transactions, number of investment units, and fund’s net asset value per unit (NAV). The passbook can be updated any time. Exclusively for Krungsri branch customers, with your passbook, it will allow you to subscribe, redeem or switch your unit trusts at any of our branch.
No, the account owner is required to show the identification card to verify the ownership of the account and sign on the back of the passbook. Except for juristic person, the permission can be given because the signature at the back is not required.
No, all you need is to hold units in any of the funds mentioned above.
Without a passbook, you can complete the transactions at any branches of Krungsri. Please keep in mind that the Krungsri branches are not able to sell or switch your unit trusts in Baht. If you should decide to complete your selling or switching in Baht, we will require a fax from those branches to complete the order at Krungsri Asset Management. Then you can update your passbook later on.
